Tabor Shuts Out Cushing

Cushing hosted Tabor in Ashburnham, MA. Tabor opened up the scoring with a shot from the point with 9:16 left in the first period with Julia Shaunessy.

Tabor would net an additional two goals in the second period. Olivia O’Brien scored the second goal on a snipe far, low pad as she rushed down the middle of the ice with 11:39 remaining. The third goal would be a complete line effort with Anne Berry getting a wrap around shot on net for Skylar Irving to pick up and place in front of the net, and finally Abigail Newhook putting it in for an easy goal with 9:02 left in the period.

Tabor would go on to score another two goals in the final period of play. Julia Shaunessy would get her second goal of the game going coast to coast with the puck, cutting to the slot, and faking out the goalie with 6:08 left. Olivia O’Brien would also net her second goal of the game with only 2:28 left in the game. Final score would be 5-0 with Tabor taking the victory.
