NMH competes in the New England Prep School Ice Hockey Association, playing over 30’games each year. The schedule includes two holiday tournaments: the Lawrenceville Tournament and the Cushing-Watkins Tournament. At NMH, ice hockey's demanding schedule plays a huge part in player development and practices are focused on developing the skills players will need in order to succeed at the highest level. NMH has experienced great team success in recent years with qualifying for New England Playoffs four times in recent years including an Elite 8 Championship appearance and last year being the #1 Overall Seed in the Martin/Earl Large School Tournament.

Kevin Czepiel enters his third year behind the bench at NMH. Prior to NMH, Czepiel was a member of the coaching staff at the University of Massachusetts. Czepiel played at UMass from 2009-2013 and Captained the Minutemen as a Senior

Notable Alumni

NMH has experienced incredible success developing and graduating players to college hockey. Many former NMH players have gone on to Captain their college programs. In recent years has had players go on to play college hockey, including many Division I players in the country’s top conferences; Big Ten, Hockey East, ECAC, and Atlantic Hockey among them. Other players have gone on to play at top academic/athletic schools in the country. NMH players have had success beyond college, with some going on to play professional hockey in the NHL, AHL, ECHL, and Europe.
