Neil played University hockey at McGill University winning a National Championship in 2012. Following his career at McGill, Neil began his coaching career in Zagreb, Croatia coaching multiple levels under the KHL model of development. Following his time in Croatia, Neil accepted the position of Director of Hockey Operations for HK Partizan in Belgrade, Serbia. While in Serbia, Neil also had the opportunity to be an Associate Coach with the Serbian Men’s National Team that won a bronze medal at the IIHF D2A World Championships held in Tilburg, Netherlands.

Upon his return to North America, Neil was an Assistant Coach at McGill University for two seasons before accepting his current position as Head of Hockey at Lower Canada College.
