Bilotta came to Neutral Zone in 2017 after serving as Scouting Director at Over the Boards, an early hockey scouting and news blog evaluating players across the United States. Mark started as a regional scout in the Northeast US but proved himself to be far more valuable than just a scout. Mark played a significant role in Neutral Zone’s social media efforts, organized marketing plans, helped develop and measure the website and launched free league sites such as NZPrep and MassNZ for Massachusetts HS. Mark was also responsible for coming up with the “Parking Lot Post Game” concept where NZ scouts recap games or tournaments from their cars in the parking lot to give immediate feedback to fans.
Mark is a highly successful executive in the social media and communications space where he serves as the Sr Social Media Manager at Motive. He currently serves as NZ’s Business Lead Consultant. He is also Head Scout in New England covering various levels from bantams to juniors and runs our Mass HS league website that covers 80+ MIAA games every year and awards the Mr. Hockey Award to the state’s top player.
