James is entering his first full season as the Director of Scouting in Western Canada for Neutral Zone LLC, after working as a scout for Neutral Zone previously. James is entering his 15th year of working in high-level hockey, beginning behind the scenes in the CIS with the University of New Brunswick before moving into coaching minor hockey in 2012. James began scouting hockey in 2018 in collaboration with coaching at the AAA level. James is excited for the season to get started and provide accurate reports on elite players playing throughout Western Canada, focusing on the U15 WHL Draft.
