Grant Morin started playing hockey at a young age and played all the way through high school in Proctor, Minnesota. He graduated in 2015 and joined the Minnesota Air National Guard. He served six years in the ANG as a Security Forces member, doing one tour overseas in the Middle East. Upon returning, he coached bantam A’s at Proctor for 2 years before stepping aside to go back to school. Now he is currently a scout for the Kenai River Brown Bears in the NAHL, as well as with Neutral Zone. His main territories are Minnesota and Wisconsin, where he has gotten a real understanding of the prospects coming out of the area. When he is not at the rink scouting, he is back in the rink to coach the KRBB 16U & 18U teams for the NAHL Fall League. His hockey prowess and experience have made him a valuable asset to the NZ scouting team.
