Prior to Neutral Zone, he worked as a financial advisor at Edward Jones before becoming the Chief Financial Officer of Wilk Paving, Inc. Brendan’s brother Patrick was a former captain at both Phillips Exeter and Connecticut College and their first cousin was former BU forward Travis Roy, who was paralyzed 11 seconds into his first college hockey game and became founder of Travis Roy Foundation.

Collins lives predominantly out of a suitcase throughout North America, sometimes being on the road for 20-40 days a time, but he holds residence in Rutland, VT.
