Morais has strong gap control and competes hard in all areas. He joins the offense with his skating ability and shows great offensive instincts while taking control of the play in his own end with a good first pass. When he gets the puck he makes a pass or skates with it eliminating scoring chances for the opposition. He plays well on PK and PP with patience with the puck and has an average shot from the blueline. Grade: B+

Noah Collette # (D, L, 5’7″, 141, Moncton Flyers, 11/08/2007) – Collette is a smooth skating confident defenseman with great lateral movement. He joins the rush extremely well passes well and chases the puck up ice all the time. He joins the rush really well and is still the first person back to defend. His skating (lateral transitions fwd to bwd pivots edge work etc) is elite. He finds a way to either get the shot through in the offensive zone or distributes the puck through passing. His skating allows him to have a tight gap and he evades contact through his quickness. Very impressed with his overall game at the U18 level being a first year defenseman. Grade: A

Zachary Rushton # (F, R, 6’3″, 194, Fredericton Caps, 04/13/2007) – Rushton was overall confident with the puck and was really strong in the offensive zone and controlling the puck. Zack protects the puck extremely well using his size to keep the opposition away from the puck while creating offensive opportunities. He has a quick release and gets in to scoring areas in the offensive zone. He is a average skater using a long stride and displays a strong scoring touch around the net while smart passing decisions to his teammates. Zack needs to work on his quickness/skating to allow him to take away time and space in the defensive zone or to allow him to get to those areas in the offensive zone Grade: B+

Zachary Boudreau # (F, L, 6’1″, 163, Moncton Flyers, 06/02/2007) – Boudreau had a strong weekend and was a difference maker when on the ice. Above average backwards skating and transitions well forward to backwards and pivots to control defenders with a strong active stick in the neutral zone forcing opposition to make decisions on the blueline. He consistently made smart decisions with the puck and played very consistent and safe; an example of this was he protected the puck in the neutral zone eluding the defender and then made an offensive rush with the puck and then dumped the puck in to the oppositions end. With his skating ability we would see him joining the offensive part of the game in a more consistent manner and joining the rush from the back end. Grade: B
