Neutral Zone is Seeking Fall/Winter Interns

The largest hockey scouting company in the World, Neutral Zone LLC is seeking applicants for the Quinn Robelle Internship Program for this Fall and Winter. It will start in September and end in March. All are welcome to apply. Location does not matter. Interns will learn about the inner workings of Neutral Zone and work with Scouts and Administrators to improve on areas of personal experience/interest and also learn about new areas of our company. There are no boundaries; we ask only for effort and a positive attitude. Like Quinn.

Aspiring scouts, media/video people, coaches, writers and hockey analysts have made up previous Intern Groups at NZ. College students who can receive credit for this venture are welcome. Interns will be taught how to take on every task assigned, and have access to a wealth of resources to succeed and learn.

Andy Beran, Colby Goaltender and former Summer Intern said of the program

“Early in the Summer, I was in a rink with Brian Murphy. He sat with me and showed me what to look for, the best way to take notes and how to identify and describe in detail players that are the top scorers but also those who blocked shots and played a role. As a group, we helped post reports and update profiles. I also got some pretty slick hats and a jacket. I learned a ton.”

Alex Sorichetti is the Director of the Quinn Robelle Internship Program. Alex has been working with Neutral Zone since 2020, after getting his start with the Quinn Robelle program himself. Through hard work and consistent communication, Alex has grown into the company and plans to help this season’s interns gain knowledge of the scouting process and assist them in getting reports ready for publishing as well as learning and developing their skills to help them move forward in their chosen profession. He currently attends the Toronto Metropolitan University for Sports Media, where he’s entering his fourth year. “Alex is a Rock Star,” Murphy added. “He has been for a couple of years now. He is the perfect person to help this group understand what it takes. Alex has earned his promotion within Neutral Zone. He is a talented young man.”

“My goal is to help the interns realize that there is a lot of potential for growth within the industry, should they be willing to put the work in.”
