USHL Announces Combine and Draft Dates

The USHL announced dates for the 2021 USHL Draft as well as combined dates for this upcoming spring and summer.

First, the USHL Draft will be held on May 26 and May 27, starting with the Phase I Draft on May 26 and the Phase II Draft the following day.

This year, 2005-born players are eligible for the Phase I Draft while players born from 2001-2005 are eligible for the Phase II Draft.

The combines are held before the draft and will be invitation-only events. The Phase II Combine (for 2003 and 2004-born players) will be held from May 13-16 and the Phase I Combine (for 2005 and 2006-born players) will be held from May 20-23. All combine dates will be held in Green Bay, the league said.

“Each year, the USHL combines are a fantastic opportunity for prospective players to compete in front of staff members of all 16 USHL Member Clubs, including the United States National Team Development Program (NTDP), while allowing the players and their families to learn more about the benefits of playing in our league,” said USHL Director of Player Personnel Luke Curadi. “With the postponement of USA Hockey Nationals, it was imperative to adjust some of our dates in order to ensure that our USHL Member Clubs could evaluate as many of the top players in the Draft(s) as possible.”
