’04 D BEN ROBERTSON COMMITS TO CORNELL FOR 2022

Robertson is in his second season with the Mount St. Charles program in Rhode Island. Last season on the 15U team, he appeared in 56 games and totaled six goals and 21 assists. This season he has appeared in seven games for the 16U team and has a goal and an assist.

Robertson is from Potomac Falls, Va. and played for Team Maryland at the Quebec PeeWee Tournament in 2017 and stayed with the organization through AYHL 13U and 14U hockey before moving to Mount St. Charles last season.

NZ Scouts: “Ben was a steady presence who moved the puck quickly in transition. Although not flashy, he showed poise under pressure and regularly made tape-to-tape passes up the middle or to the weak side. He cleared shooting lanes and did not allow secondary scoring opportunities. In the defensive zone, Ben used his wide base to be strong in the corners, maintain defensive side positioning and eliminate the cycle quickly. He played with confidence and appeared to be a leader.”

’00 D LANE BROCKHOFF COMMITS TO NIAGARA FOR 2021

  • No. 53 in NZ’s Top 100 Uncommitted Prospect Rankings (July 2020)
  • No. 137 in NZ’s Top 500 NCAA Eligible 2000-Born Prospects (April 2020)

Brockhoff has been a point-producing defenseman for the Camrose Kodiaks in the AJHL the last two seasons. Last season he finished with 36 points in 48 games, including 11 goals from the blue line; he also competed for the AJHL Selects at the JCWC. Two years ago he finished with 20 points in 52 games for Camrose.

A native of Edberg, Alb., Brockhoff played for the Camrose Red Wings and Camrose Vikings while also spending a season with the Leduc Oil Kings U18 team.

’00 F JOEY LAROSSA COMMITS TO WENTWORTH FOR 2021

  • No. 49 NCDC player in NZ’s Top 500 NCAA Eligible 2000-Born Prospects (April 2020)

LaRossa is a native of Braintree, Mass., who came up through Boston Advantage’s program. After a short stop with the Connecticut Jr. Rangers in the NCDC, he spent a portion of last season with the Northeast Generals in the NAHL before settling in with the South Shore King’s NCDC squad. He began this season with the Kings before moving to Boston Advantage’s NCDC team where he has two assists in 10 games.

NZ Scouts: “LaRossa is flat out fast and also has a gritty side we liked. He flew to hunt pucks and forced to his help. He is stronger than he looks and won pucks below the dots and on the walls. We liked his game a lot on the power play as he tracked rebounds and loose pucks as well as attacked the net. He wheeled and created plays.”
