NCAA: Norwich Adds Two From NAHL, Albertus Magnus Picks Up a D

’99 G Landon Pavlisin commits to Norwich for 2020

Pavlisin heads to Norwich after playing last season in the NAHL. The California native had 3.13/.911 splits for the Kenai River Brown Bears this past season. Before the NAHL, Pavlisin played a year in the BCHL and also played in the AJHL and SJHL.

NZ scouts: “He is a conservative goaltender and knows to stay within his game.  He doesn’t get too wide which allows him to move more explosively east to west.  He is extremely explosive laterally. He gaps out at the right time and tracks pucks very well into his body and hands.  He doesn’t give up too many rebounds and tends to get a lot of whistles. He is very good at following the puck behind the goal line and integrating the posts.”

’99 F Warren Natyshak commits to Norwich for 2020

Norwich picked up another commitment out of the NAHL in Natyshak, an Ohio native who was ranked in our 1999 National Rankings report from earlier this spring.

In 45 games for the Shreveport Mudbugs, Natyshak had 11 goals and 15 assists this past season. He spent three seasons total with the Shreveport Mudbugs and finished his NAHL career with 24 goals and 28 assists in 119 games.

’00 D J.J. Berdal commits to Albertus Magnus for 2020

Berdal is a Wisconsin native who spent this past season with the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs in the NCDC, where he finished this season with 8 goals and 12 assists.

Two seasons ago, Berdal played in the NOJHL and prior to his junior hockey career he played for D.C. Everest High in Wisconsin.
