F2004Ryder McIntyreSarinaFor a big forward, McIntyre has nifty hands and surprisingly good edgework. He uses his reach to get to the puck first and has a step with his speed getting to loose pucks. We continued to like McIntyre’s all round power game. With his reach and size and persistence on the forecheck he creates turnovers on nearly every shift in the offensive zone.
G2004Chaz NixonFlintPosted a 1.99 GAA for the Oshawa Generals Mn Midget AAA team last season in 20 games. Also played bantams with the Generals and posted a 2.00 GAA in 2018-19.
C2004Ty PetrouFlintPetrou has extremely fast hands that allows him to make moves in tight and words to his advantage on faceoffs. He is persistent on the backcheck but his forte is definitely with the puck on his stick where he does not give it up easily and has creativity with his moves and passes. Petrou is a pricklly, gritty – two way center who continues to show well in tight checking games.
G2004Andrew OkeSaginawAndrew is a big goalie around 6’1 who moves pretty good for his size. He competes on the play and he does a great job of controlling his rebounds. He was tested often as he made numerous saves using quick side to side movement. He let 3 goals in one game but he was solid in the other games he played.
F2004Dylan RoobroeckNiagaraRoobroeck’s game continues to develop as his pace increases. A tall forward with reach and an excellent shot, he uses his body well to get into good scoring lanes. We continue to like his puck protection skills down low with his body and when his feet were in motion was a constant threat to elude defenders.
F2004Brice CookeNiagaraLeft shot winger with a good motor on the forecheck and a heavy shot when he gets free in the slot.  Early in the tournament Cooke as a catalyst on the top line with his physical play and ability to use his body to go to the net.  He showed some good board play in his own end and was effective in transition moving pucks up ice.
