DOwen PickeringSwift CurrentOwen is a quick/mobile defender with a strong work ethic. He gets on pucks quickly and hits his wingers on the boards with accurate passes. The ’04 will skate the puck with his strong skating abilities and saw time on the powerplay. He can play more physical in the defensive zone and needs to improve his awareness in all three zones.
FRiley HeidtPrince GeorgeHe’s got vision from anywhere he is on the ice and can make passes in tight or spin off the defender to open space and get a lane to attack the net. Heidt battles hard for loose pucks showed he’s willing to play in the tough areas of the ice to get the puck back on his stick.
FBrayden YagerMoose JawBrayden is the rare mix of size, finesse, physicality. The first thing that jumps out to us is his frame. Even as a 14-year-old, he looks like a man amongst his opponents. He is tall, thick, and athletic. The second thing that jumps out to us is his skating. You’d anticipate a stride that would need work as he is still growing into his frame, but this is not the case. His stride is fluid, powerful, and he plays with a great top end speed.
