Boston Imperials Academy Hires Lizzotte as U15 Coach

The Boston Imperials Hockey Academy announced this week that Jon Lizzotte has been hired to coach the U15 Boys Academy Team for the upcoming 2020 season.  Lizzotte has spent the past five seasons with the Northern Cyclones and Cyclones Academy program, serving as their midget hockey director as well as coaching and building the NCDC-Premier-Elite-U18-U16-U15-U14 levels.

“I am so happy to be joining the Boston Imperials Academy,” Lizzotte said. “They have a put together an extraordinary organization and I am looking forward to help build the program.”

Lizzotte joins a coaching staff that already included Nate Bostic (U18 and director of the program) and Shawn McEachern (U16).

“Jon has a tremendous reputation for being a tireless worker and a great teacher,” Bostic said. “He’s a perfect addition to our staff and I’m thrilled to have him.”

Lizzotte’s U15 teams have won the New Hampshire State Championship three times and advanced to New England Regionals four times. In addition to his coaching, Lizzotte also served as the social media manager, graphic design specialist, and the hockey skills coach for the entire Cyclones program.

Prior to his coaching career, Lizzotte played for Southern New Hampshire University. Before SNHU, he played his junior hockey with the Hartford Wolfpack, CT Clippers and Maine Moose, where he served as team captain. He was also a two-year captain of Winslow High School and was named Class B Player of the Year, Morning Sentinel Player of the Year, and Class B Forward of the year in his junior and senior seasons.
