Burlington had some grade A chances in the final minute, but a huge block by Brian Tosi led to Tersoni scoring on the empty net. 3-1 Final.

Three Stars

1st Star: Will Trischitta, Framingham

2nd Star: Mike Tersoni, Framingham

3rd Star: Jake Handy, Framingham

NZ’s Take: Framingham showed resiliency in front of a loud crowd on the road tonight. The Flyers are very well coached and it seems that the staff has given players roles and these kids are executing. Will Trischitta was excellent tonight. He was dangerous with the puck and has a good burst of straight away speed. He did a bit of running the tip of the power play as well. Mike Tersoni turned it on in the second half of the game. He showed his speed beating defensemen to the net all evening. He has a nice skill set and shoots the puck very well. He also showed some toughness on the forecheck and willingness to put his body on the line. Going to be a nice add for a prep school next year. Jake Handy had a nice night in net. Made some good saves through traffic, but was not overly tested. Tough loss for Burlington tonight on home ice. 2003 Sophomore goalie, Joe Trabucco, was excellent in net. He made twenty saves including some big-time post to post saves. Ryan O’Halloran was very good for the Red Devils tonight, but did not show up on the score sheet. He likes to possess the puck on the power play and has a nice poise about his game. Very dangerous below the dots in the offensive zone. Sean Savage is a nice prep prospect on the back end for Burlington. Runs the power play for the Red Devils and likes to play physical. Has a nice skill set as well.
